Warranty Policy
1. Manufacturer Limited Warranty
Systems and components are covered by applicable manufacturer warranties, including Nelsen Corporation and/or third-party component manufacturers.
Manufacturer warranties generally cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Warranty terms vary by component.
Manufacturer warranties do not cover:

Freezing damage

Improper installation or modification
-
Exposure to hot water beyond manufacturer limits

Lack of maintenance or salt
-
Wear parts (o-rings, seals, spacers, gaskets)

Acts of God or power surges
Warranty claims must be initiated through Houston Water Systems. Supporting documentation and photos may be required.
2. One-Year Installation Workmanship Warranty
Houston Water Systems provides a one (1) year workmanship warranty covering installation-related defects.
This includes:

Improper fittings

Installation-caused leaks
-
Drain line configuration errors
This does not cover:
-
Pre-existing plumbing issues
-
Corroded or failing copper lines
-
Municipal pressure fluctuations

Customer tampering
-
Normal wear
